I enjoy making sense of things - the messier the problem, the more satisfying the outcome. I have a natural curiosity that pushes me to investigate what I don’t know, paired with a practical mindset focused on what actually moves the needle. While I like to think I was once an optimist who would promise to deliver any possible design, I’m now very much a realist.. a perspective earned from over eight years of designing in financial services.

Most of my career has lived in the finance world, which is ironic considering I dropped every finance related subject in school as soon as I could. But the domain has taught me plenty: how to balance strict regulation with creativity, how to navigate tight constraints without losing empathy and how to design with precision without overcomplicating the system. It’s made me an adaptable, detail obsessed designer who thinks strategically when it counts.

Outside of work, I’ve been a keen gamer ever since I hopped on our first family computer. My very first design job was actually building multiplayer maps for a Grand Theft Auto server (a bit like The Sims). Since then, I’ve tried my hand at streaming and competitive gaming. Away from the screen, I’m big into football, which I play a couple of times a week and golf, where I'm slowly coming to the point of finding more golf balls than I lose.. it's been a rough journey.
